The psychologist provides clinical services, consultations, trainings, and psychological testing utilizing trauma informed, evidence based best practices.  Serves as a member of the Prevention and Intervention Programs team, guides the selection and implementation of testing batteries for youth and adults impacted by trauma, and provides assessments, collateral contacts, analysis, and consultation of treatment options for youth in residential, foster care, and the community. May provide court testimony when needed. Provides clinical supervision to practicum students pursuing PhD in psychology. As part of the treatment team the psychologist will provide solutions and treatment options for youth in crisis. Advocates for youth and families to provide and facilitate the best possible care and treatment available. Collaborates closely with the Prevention and Intervention Programs Team, Experiential Specialists, the Residential Leadership Team, Clinical Managers, and Family Therapists to promote the social, emotional, psychological, physical, and spiritual well-being of persons served.

PhD in Clinical Psychology or School Psychology with a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with adolescents/children is required. Licensed to practice in the State of Michigan. May have a limited license but must be working on obtaining full licensure.
