Dear Prayer Partners,

Earlier this week I had the opportunity to interview a past resident at Eagle Village… not a tell-me-about-yourself interview, but an actual job interview! After completing his first year of college, Eli came back with a desire to serve on our summer camp staff, confident that he has something to share with younger kids about overcoming life’s challenges.

Stories like Eli’s are just one of the reasons we have to be thankful for what God is doing at and through Eagle Village. Your prayers have helped to bring about some pretty amazing things over the past few months. Here are just a few:

  • Several key staff positions have been filled with amazing new staff who love the Lord and are passionate about the work of Eagle Village. Praise God for Kevin, Danny, Dina, Emma, and dozens of new Youth Specialists and support staff members coming on board right now!
  • New and deepening partnerships are developing with several churches from across the state. Praise God for opportunities with Venture Church, Thrive Church, Northland United Methodist, and several churches right here in our neighborhood!
  • Work across campus to refresh and update key residential facilities is continuing. Praise God that our Connections residents are now enjoying their new home in Hainley House, for the complete renovation of Putnam House (which should be complete this week), and for ongoing updates happening in the Assessment Center. Praise God for the provision of funds to make these projects happen!
  • This past month, at least 6 residents responded to the Gospel and received Jesus into their hearts and lives. Praise God for drawing them to Himself!

…and the list could go on. Know that your prayers really do make a difference, and that we appreciate you holding up before God our staff and the youth and families we serve.

In Christ,

Pastor Eric Woods
