The Accounting/Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees, and maintaining compliance with all payroll laws and regulations. This role also involves preparing payroll reports, and assisting with general accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable. The specialist will work closely with HR to address any payroll discrepancies and provide support during audits. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with computer skills are essential for success in this position

Brief Description of Requirements:
High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting preferred. 2-3 years of experience in non-profit bookkeeping and medical billing preferred. Working knowledge of basic accounting terminology and formats, proficiency in accuracy and spreadsheets, and organizational skills are required.
