Dear Prayer Partners,
What is something good that God has done for you lately?
It’s a question I pose often to our students and staff, and one that I often stop to answer myself… but it’s not always easy to do. I believe that noticing and acknowledging God’s goodness in our lives is a discipline every one of us can develop further.
Every Wednesday morning at chapel we have an opportunity to answer that very question. Students come forward before we begin and write a short note to leave at the altar. This week, one of them wrote, “God helped me see the positive and worth in my life…”
It seems like such a simple thing, but for this student in particular, it’s a major breakthrough.
Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us to “ask and pray, and give thanks to God.”
I know that many who receive this letter pray faithfully (and daily!) for the ministry of Eagle Village, asking for his hand of blessing, protection and guidance. We know that He is answering your prayers, helping those we serve to see the positive and the worth in their own lives. It’s just one of the many reasons to give thanks to Him.
