Dear friends,
This week I watched as one of our campers wrestled with the idea of someone caring for him.
He wants to know if I will still care about him even if he uses foul language. I will.
He wants to know if I still care about him even if he gets angry. I do.
He wants to know if I will still care about him even when he runs away or pushes me away. I absolutely will.
He just wants to know that someone cares. And we do.
This week my prayer has been that he would know for sure that someone cares and, more importantly, that he would know for sure that God cares. He does.
As we head into the second half of summer we ask that you join us in praying for the leaders, campers, staff, and residents of Eagle Village. We have put together a weekly prayer guide for the remainder of our summer weeks and we humbly ask you to lift up our requests to the one who cares for us all.
