“Where is your faith?” Jesus asked his disciples. In fear and amazement they asked one another, “Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him.” (Luke 8:25 NIV)

Dear Prayer Partners,

It was on what was apparently an ordinary, peaceful day that a storm blew up while Jesus and his disciples crossed the Sea of Galilee. And as you know, the wind and the waves were nothing compared to the power and authority that Jesus commanded.

Over the past few weeks, we have been studying through the Gospel of Luke in our times together in chapel. What we’ve seen over and over is that the challenges of this world are no match for God’s power and authority. And that’s why we come to him in prayer.

Please continue to pray for God to meet the needs here at Eagle Village according to his incredible power and authority.
