Hello from Pastor Chris…
The end of 2019 is almost here, and here at Eagle Village we are excited to see what God has in store! We continue to see God at work at Eagle Village, and we anticipate great things in the upcoming year.
Pray with me through the weeks of December for Eagle Village Staff, Eagle Village Residents, the Local Churches that partner with Eagle Village, Chapel at Eagle Village, and the continued impact of God on our lives.

December 1-7
Pray this week that God would inspire and encourage every Eagle Village staff person. Investing in the lives of young people and families can be some of the most rewarding and meaningful work imaginable. This work can also be discouraging and exhausting. Each day this week lift up Eagle Village staff. Pray that each would come to know God in more meaningful and powerful ways and that God would use each staff person to impact the lives of kids and families in eternally significant ways.
December 8-14
Pray this week that God would offer restoration and new beginnings to each youth currently living at Eagle Village. In many cases the work that God does at Eagle Village breaks into generations of brokenness and dysfunction. It is difficult work, but we serve a powerful God. Pray that God’s power would illuminate darkness, break chains, and heal brokenness in the lives of Eagle Village residents.
December 15-21
Pray this week for the churches with whom Eagle Village partners. Youth at Eagle Village have the ability to engage with local churches each week. Engagement with a local church offers Eagle Village youth the opportunity to see church in a new way. As relationships are built and connections are made, it is our hope that youth would see God’s action and power on display in the love and acceptance of a local church body.
December 22-28
Pray this week for the ongoing ministry of Chapel services at Eagle Village. Each Wednesday morning staff and students gather together to sing songs of praise and learn from the Bible together. Pray that this experience would never become routine but that it would serve as a life-changing catalyst for each staff and student involved. Pray that God would be active at Chapel in powerful ways.
December 29-January 4
As a new year begins, pray that Spiritual Life at Eagle Village would continue to grow. It is the goal of Spiritual Life at Eagle Village to create opportunities for students and staff to experience God’s help and love. Pray that impact would grow, that lives would continue to be changed, and that residents and staff would experience God in new and powerful ways. God help us.
