The Court Day Treatment Youth Specialist (YS) provides direct supervision of the youth in the Day Treatment Program, and helps to implement goals and strategies for each youth. The YS greets the youth each morning, ensures their safety through the day, monitors youth during programming, supervises youth during meals and restroom breaks, and completes daily logs of participation and behavior. The YS is part of a treatment team that inspires students to make positive social, emotional, behavioral and academic progress while maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment. Above all they are to keep high risk youth who present a wide variety of emotional needs, emotionally and physically safe in a highly structured environment.
The Court Day Treatment Youth Specialist positions require an individual who is self-motivated and able to work independently, and with a small team with minimal supervision. This person must be willing to fill in at times for absent team members.

Brief Description of Any Preferences
A Bachelor’s degree in a human services area is preferred. In-depth Eagle Village employee training in trauma informed care, crisis intervention, behavioral management, and verbal intervention is required upon employment.
